GURCA is leading a project to purchase the old shop site in Drumnadrochit and use this site to build a new Community Health and wellbeing site with a focus on sport. This project is a collaboration with Glen Urquhart shinty Club who will be the primary user of the facility but will make this facility available for other field sports and wellbeing activities. We are currently seeking funding to purchase the site and understating some design works as well as developing a business plan. The aim is to have the site in community ownership in late 2024 with a new facility being constructed from 2025 onwards.
