Walking Festival

Our Friends at Soirbheas and the Heritage group have been working hard on this:

Strathglass and Glenurquhart Heritage Walking Festival

We are delighted to announce that we will be piloting a Heritage Walking Weekend within Strathglass and GlenurquhartThe aim is to encourage local people and visitors to walk more and connect with the history and heritage in the area

The scope is that the pilot will turn into a much bigger annual Heritage Walking Festival. Over the weekend, both Strathglass Heritage Association and Glenurquhart Heritage Group will provide a number of walks and talks on topics covering a timespan of several thousand years

All events are entirely free, but spaces are limited so you MUST book to secure your spot. You can find out more information and book via Strathglass Heritage Group's website

or by emailing admin@strathglass-heritage.co.uk or calling 01456 415366

or Loch Ness Hub's website

or by emailing bookings@lochnesstravel.com

Why not also read the blog from well-known travel writer Robin McKelvie

👉

The project has been funded by Paths for All's “Smarter Choices, Smarter Places” fund, and developed by Soirbheas along with our project partners, Strathglass Heritage, Strathglass Marketing Association, Glen Urquhart Heritage Group and Loch Ness Hub & Travel.

A huge thank you to all of those involved!
